01.05.14 : Maharashtra Day Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The Senior and Junior College staff celebrated Maharashtra Day by hoisting the national flag in our college at the hands of Vice Principal, Shri Probal Gupta.

18.06.14 : Inauguration of STAR (Standard Training, Assessment and Reward) program for students to develop their personality
A one-month long training program to groom the students in various soft skills was started on 18.06.14 in assoication with the Government of India.

20.06.14 : NSS Meeting on World Yoga Day
The NSS organized a meeting on 20.06.14 in connection with the World Yoga Day when the benefits of practicing yoga regularly was explained to the NSS volunteers by the faculty.

21.06.14 : Workshop on NAAC Reaccreditation Process
The IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) of the college organized a workshop on the process of reaccreditation to be followed by the college. Dr. P. Pabarekar, Vice Principal of Vaze College was the Guest Speaker at the workshop attended by all the faculty.

30.06.14 : Workshop on Revised Syllabus of Commerce for TY B.Com
The college, in association with the University of Mumbai, organized a workshop for the commerce faculty of over 40 colleges on the revised commerce syllabus of TY B Com. The program was inaugurated by the Dean of Commerce, University of Mumbai, Prin. Dr. Madhu Nair. The Guest of Honour was Prin. Dr. T.A. Shiware, Director of Hinduja Educational Trust. The new syllabus of different subjects was elaborately explained by the Resource Persons from the Syllabus Revision Committee.

08.07.14 : Induction of new students into NSS
FY students who became members of the NSS attended a presentation on the role and benefits of NSS during a two hour session addressed by the NSS convenor and faculty.

15.07.14 : Singing of National Anthem in Class Rooms
In conformity with the guidelines from the University of Mumbai, the singing of National Anthem in the class rooms at the beginning of the day, was started on 15.07.14. Students are participating in the recitation with enthusiasm.

16.07.14 : Language Game by Literary Forum
The Literary Forum of the college conducted a Language Game in English on 16.07.14. The participation of students in this event was quite commendable.

16.07.14 : Collection of Data from students passing out of the college
To enable the college to build a data base of ex students and to keep a track of their progression, the students who come to collect their final year marksheets, have been requested to fill up specially designed forms. These forms will help the college to collect information about the students’ contact details, their future plans and any assistance they may require in job placements. This activity has been commenced on 16.07.14 for TY B Com students who were coming to collect their mark sheets. This will be extended to students of other courses like BMS, BBI, BAF, B Sc (IT) and M Com as and when their results are announced.

18.07.14 : Publishing of Attendance Shortage List
The list of students who had not fulfilled the University guidelines on attendance, (minimum 50% in each subject and minimum 75 % in all the subjects put together) for the month of June 2014 was displayed at a prominent place. This practice will be followed every month and the attention of the parents of the defaulting students will be drawn so that they can also counsel their wards accordingly.
