The Department of Economics strives to keep itself abreast of dynamic changes happening in pedagogy. In this endeavour, the faculty in the department makes best efforts to update their knowledge and skills to keep pace with developments in the teaching-learning process. To integrate technology for improved the efficacy in the teaching-learning process, the Department has initiated extensive use of multimedia such as Google Classroom and Youtube lectures. The faculty in the department regularly post useful articles, study materials and recorded lectures on Google Classroom for the benefit of students.

An essay writing competition on 26th July 2018. Twenty three students participated in the activity.
A debate competition on the topic, “Does Generation-X needs Classroom Teaching?” Twenty two students participated in the activity.
A study tour to the RBI’s Monetary Museum on 8th January, 2019. Forty seven students visited the museum.
